ACCOUNTING MANAGER

ACCOUNTING MANAGER – Growing Real Estate Development Company! Hybrid!

This is a great opportunity to join a small but growing real estate development company. This hands-on position offers lots of variety and upside!

The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of financial resources. This role involves supervising a small accounting team, managing financial statements, and supporting operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• Manage/oversee day-to-day accounting functions
• Establish new or modify existing policies and procedures
• Manage company cash flow and debt covenant reporting
• Improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial budgeting and reporting process
• Develop benchmarks against which to measure company performance
• Provide reliable data to assist owners with strategic decisions
• Review and present monthly financials
• Communicate effectively and provide relevant information with debt and equity partners
• Work with outside consultants, specifically CPA's
• Special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER –

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• 5+ years’ experience required
• CPA a plus
• Combination of public accounting and industry preferred
• Real estate experience required
• Strong financial reporting and planning
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail

Target salary range $100,000- $120,000 DOE. Benefits include PTO, retirement and more.
