CONTROLLER – Seeking a strategic thinker with a knack for detail!

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Controller that is willing to get their hands dirty. Selected individual will manage the accounting, reporting and finance functions. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing insightful reports and key metrics for senior management, bankers, and others.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller

• Oversee general accounting tasks, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, sales taxes, and financial closing processes.
• Create and present detailed reports and key performance metrics to senior management, auditors, and financial partners.
• Lead system updates and implementations, and manage our IT relationship for both corporate and entity needs.
• Handle cash management, treasury functions, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage business insurance, licensing, and external auditor relationships.
• Serve as the primary liaison with tax accountants and lenders as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications of the Controller

• Degree in Accounting required
• CPA with some public accounting a plus
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Detail oriented with a willingness to get your hands dirty and manage a small staff
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and internal controls
• Excellent computer, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to streamline accounting processes and improve financial systems
• Excellent job record
• Team player with a strong sense of integrity and ethical judgment.

Target salary range: $120,000-160,000 DOE. Bonus Potential. Benefits include 401K, PTO, insurance and more!
