The Director of Finance and Accounting is critical in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company as they continue to expand.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

 

  • Collaborate on developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenarios to guide decision-making.
  • Manage various aspects of the accounting operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial analyses, summaries, and reports.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and consultants
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting and finance team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage capital expenditures.
  • Mitigate financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Special projects as a trusted advisor.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

 

  • Degree in Accounting, MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA is also a strong preference.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to hire, train and develop team members.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, financial software and ERP systems.
  • Drive to achieve outstanding results grounded in professional integrity and accountability.

 

Target salary range $160,000 -$190,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Other benefits include PTO, insurance and much more!
