CONTROLLER

CONTROLLER – Key member of the team! Get involved in all aspects of the business!

Serve as a key member of the team at this stable but growing organization located on the north side of the metropolitan area!

We are willing to look at an accounting manager or assistant controller level candidate that is looking to make the move up!

Use your accounting, finance and leadership skills to be part of something special!

Construction, manufacturing, mining or other job costing experience highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER

• Assist with long-term strategic financial plans
• Identify business risks and opportunities
• Prepare and present annual budget, forecasts and findings
• Assist with development of forecasts/reforecasts
• Maintain financial statement models
• Provides financial analysis
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics/KPI’s/benchmarks.
• General Ledger and Job Cost maintenance
• Month-End/Year-End
• Calculate Work in Progress percentage completion
• Inventory Management
• Review and assess adequacy of accruals
• Work with external auditors
• Monitor internal controls
• Update policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
• CPA preferred
• 6 plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Construction, manufacturing, mining or other job costing experience highly preferred.
• Strong general accounting, analytical, inventory management and job costing experience
• Excellent communication. organizational and computer skills
• Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills
• Team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Target salary range:  $120,000 – $150,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include 401k and PTO, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance and more!
