Growing company located in the DTC is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team! This would be an ideal role for a CPA who is looking to transition out of public accounting and into a great industry role.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers
- Identify and implement process improvements as we grow
- Jump in where needed — they are a team and support each other
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Target salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance. PTO. Other benefits.
