The company is located on the north side of Denver.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER
- Manage accounting operations
- Work management to develop long-term strategic financial plans
- Identify, assess, and quantify business risks and opportunities
- Coordinate and prepare develop detailed budget and forecasts
- Maintain financial statement models
- Provides financial analysis
- Evaluate optimum utilization and financial performance of assets.
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics/KPI’s
- General Ledger and Job Cost sub-ledger maintenance
- Perform Month-End/Year-End Journal Entries
- Perform monthly Work in Progress percentage completion calculation
- Inventory Management including developing standard costs and pricing levels
- Review and assess adequacy of accruals
- Work with external auditors
- Monitor internal controls, update policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
- 7 plus years of progressive accounting and analytical experience
- Some public accounting a plus
- Construction, manufacturing or job costing experience required
- Experience with a high growth company
- Excellent communication. organizational and computer skills
- Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Target salary range: $140,000 – $165,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include 401k and PTO, medical, dental, vision, and much more!
