This is a great opportunity for a CPA that is interested in joining a fast-growing, well-funded, early stage company.

The ideal candidate is someone who can build and inspire a high-performing accounting team, can embrace ambiguity, and loves solving problems.

We are seeking a Controller who will be responsible for directing the accounting activities for a fast growing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER

• Oversee all accounting functions, financial systems and general ledger activities
• Oversight and implementation of all financial control policies and procedures
• Monitors and reports on progress related achieving operational and strategic objectives
• Ensures company-wide controls, auditing, and risk management steps are implemented
• Interprets, analyzes and reports on financial results for senior management
• Establish, support, and develop a small global accounting team while driving efficiency & automation
• Establish and document ongoing accounting processes and procedures
• Oversee the monthly global financial close process in an accurate and timely manner
• Responsible for annual external audit preparation and oversight
• Contribute to the preparation of key financial deliverables
• Co-ordinate with external tax accountants
• Performs all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Advanced degree preferred
• Active CPA
• 8+ years of experience including 3 as a controller
• Some public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred
• History with a fast-growing business and PE/VC ownership is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to identify and clearly present risks to stakeholders and influence decision making
• Highly collaborative, open, and transparent.

Target annual salary range: $140,000 – $ 160,000 DOE. Benefits include options, medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation, sick time, and more!
