CONTROLLER – Growth, stability and an awesome team environment!

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
- Collaborate with ownership to create budgets and manage fiscal responsibility.
- Monitor job cost reports and work-in-progress updates.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tailored to construction projects.
- Maintain financial statement models
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
- Implement and manage financial control systems to track project expenses, labor costs, and material procurement.
- Prevent cost overruns and ensure adherence to financial projections
- Mentor and guide direct reports as the company continues to grow.
- Collaborate with senior management and operations managers to ensure financial directives are followed.
- Participate in ongoing strategic planning.
- Work with external auditors
- Monitor internal controls
- Update policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- 7 plus years of progressive accounting and analytical experience.
- Construction, manufacturing or job costing experience highly preferred.
- Excellent communication. organizational and computer skills
- Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Target salary range: $135,000 – $165,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include 401k and PTO, medical, dental, vision, and much more!
