DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS – Newly Created Role!

 

We are seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis efforts across this rapidly expanding company. This is a fantastic opportunity to operate as a strategic partner with executive management.

 

This is a hands-on role that requires a dynamic leader who can work closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams to drive informed decision-making and support a high-growth trajectory.

 

Selected candidate will be a skillful collaborator with strong leadership skills. Strong accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, M&A, financial reporting and analysis experience is required.

 

An ideal candidate would be a CPA and MBA with a combination of public accounting and industry FP&A experience in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Manage and analyze annual budget process
  • Forecasting and reforecasting
  • Financial reporting and financial analytics
  • Assist with board packages
  • Analyze key performance indicators
  • Strategic planning and analysis
  • Cash forecasting and other complex financial models
  • Assist with due diligence on M&A transactions

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 10 plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Ability to work within an organization and build trusted partnerships
  • Ability to influence through insight and collaboration
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty
  • Outstanding computer skills including financial modeling
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team Player

 

 

Target salary range: $180,000 - $210,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential, 401K, medical, dental, vision, PTO and much more!
