FINANCIAL ANALYST (FP&A)– Unique Opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in either public accounting, a FP&A department or a rotational accounting and finance program. HYBRID!

 

We are seeking someone with 1-3 years of experience in either public accounting, a FP&A department or a program that offered a rotational accounting and finance experience.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be an essential part of the finance and accounting team providing critical financial insights, data analysis, and recommendations to support key decision-making processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCIAL ANALYST (FP&A)

  • Responsible for medium to complex level financial analysis projects.
  • Assists in selection and implementation of FP&A software.
  • Establish budget and forecasting process
  • Assist in development and improvement of management reporting package.
  • Assist in M&A activities.
  • Monitor and predict company cash flows.
  • Identify trends, anomalies and patterns in financial data.
  • Analyze processes to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Track current financial data.
  • Study data to predict trends and benchmark KPIs.
  • Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE FINANCIAL ANALYST

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Experience in either public accounting (Big 4 a plus), a FP&A department or a rotational accounting and finance program.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting deliverables.
  • Self-starter, but a team player.

 

Target salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 DOE. Discretionally bonus potential. Other benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, PTO 401K and more!
