The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a combination of public accounting and industry. We will also consider someone directly out of public accounting, preferably Big 4, National or large Regional firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER OF FINANCIAL REPORTING
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting regulations and requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex financial transactions.
- Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes.
- Participates in technology system implementations, upgrades and enhancements
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MANAGER OF FINANCIAL REPORTING
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting
- A combination of public accounting and industry preferred.
- Will consider someone directly out of public accounting, preferably Big 4, National or Large Regional firm.
- Will also consider someone out of a mid to large publically traded company
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts.
- Excellent computer and business process skills.
- Proven skills in financial reporting analysis, research and technical writing.
- Efficient organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Great team player
Target Salary Range: $115,000 - $155,000 DOE. Benefits include bonus potential, generous PTO, health, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401k, and many more!
