FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER

FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER – Terrific organization! Outstanding compensation and benefits package! Hybrid!

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a combination of public accounting and industry. We will also consider someone directly out of public accounting, preferably Big 4, National or large Regional firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER OF FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Manage, train, develop and mentor a small staff.
  • Responsible for policy and strategy implementation.
  • Prepares and reviews regulatory and shareholder analysis and reporting.
  • Maintains department controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the Company’s financial reports comply with GAAP, regulatory requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley, and industry practice.
  • Maintains effective source data controls and change management over certain reporting.
  • Maintains current knowledge of accounting and regulatory rules.
  • Prepares other reports on an ad-hoc basis required for financial analytics on various key initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities for robotic process automation.
  • Participates in technology system implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Assists with special projects, and performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MANAGER OF FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Master’s degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, strongly preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of financial reporting and/or corporate accounting experience
  • A combination of public accounting and industry preferred
  • Experience managing people, strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts.
  • Advanced technology and business process skills in Hyperion and  Essbase
  • Proven skills in financial reporting analysis, research and technical writing.
  • Efficient organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills

 

Target Salary Range: $105,000 - $145,000 DOE. Benefits include onus potential, generous PTO, health, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401k, and many more!
