MANAGER, FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS – Well-funded start-up!
A well-funded, rapidly growing technology company, is seeking a Manager of FP&A to build and lead its financial planning and analysis function.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to build an FP&A organization from the ground up while partnering directly with leadership. The company has strong financial backing, an experienced leadership team, and is entering an exciting phase of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER, FP&A
- Build and own the company's FP&A function from the ground up.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across all business units.
- Develop rolling forecasts, long-range financial plans, and scenario analyses.
- Partner with department leaders to establish budgets and improve financial accountability.
- Design executive dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
- Deliver financial analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
- Build scalable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support continued growth.
- Collaborate closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and meaningful variance analysis.
- Support executive leadership with board reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MANAGER, FP&A
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A including experience with a start-up organization.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and planning tools.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
- Team player.
Target salary range $120,000 – $150,000 DOE. Benefits include potential stock, insurance, PTO and more!
