PAYROLL MANAGER
PAYROLL MANAGER - Awesome Benefits - Hybrid Environment!
One of Denver’s top companies seeks to add a talented Payroll Manager to their team. We are seeking a strong payroll person with excellent leadership skills!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL MANAGER
- Coordinate timely, compliant and accurate processing of payroll
- Supervise and coordinate activities of payroll staff
- Support other payroll related functions in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Research and resolve payroll, tax, controls and audit issues
- Handle direct employee inquiries and requests
- Assist in reconciliations of payroll accounts
- Resolve issue and identify process improvements
- Recruit, train and develop payroll staff
- Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
- All other duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PAYROLL MANAGER
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 10+ years of payroll and accounting experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with large payroll systems
- Experience in multi-entity, complex organizations is a plus
- CPP or other payroll designation strongly preferred
- Accounting skills and understanding a plus
- Some international payroll experience a plus
- Able to identify issues and bring to resolution
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player
Target salary range: $120,000-$150,000 plus performance bonus, 401k, PTO, insurance and lots of other great benefits!
