SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – FINANCIAL REPORTING - Hybrid! Awesome Benefits!

 

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to serve as a key member of the accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious and constantly seeking to learn and improve!  

 

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT

 

  • Preparation of various financial and regulatory reports.
  • Prepare Deferred tax workbook
  • Assist in general accounting.
  • Performs reconciliations.
  • Serve as backup to other team members.
  • Assist in preparation and review of variance analysis and Board package.
  • Performs and documents technical accounting and regulatory research.
  • Prepares quarterly equity roll-forward
  • Assist in documentation of internal controls, accounting policies and procedures
  • Liaison for the internal and external audit process.
  • Assists in monitoring liquidity, debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
  • Supports compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Supports Management in completing special projects, ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
  • Assists in the testing, implementation of new ERP system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Advanced degree a plus
  • CPA highly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in public accounting and industry highly preferred
  • Financial Services is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer experience. Strong Excel skills required.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills,
  • Team player

 

Target salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include very generous time off, medical, dental, 401k, and much, much more!
