SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – Hybrid! Awesome Benefits!
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to serve as a key member of the accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious and constantly seeking to learn and improve!
The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting experience. Will also consider some coming straight out of public accounting
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
- Preparation of various financial and regulatory reports.
- Assist in general accounting.
- Performs reconciliations.
- Serve as backup to other team members.
- Assist in preparation and review of variance analysis and Board package.
- Performs and documents technical accounting and regulatory research.
- Prepares quarterly equity roll-forward
- Assist in documentation of internal controls, accounting policies and procedures
- Liaison for the internal and external audit process.
- Assists in monitoring liquidity, debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Supports compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Supports Management in completing special projects, ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
- Assists in the testing, implementation of new ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Advanced degree a plus
- CPA highly preferred
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in public accounting and industry highly preferred
- Financial Services is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer experience. Strong Excel skills required.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills,
- Team player
Target salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include very generous time off, medical, dental, 401k, and much, much more!
