REMOTE - SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT – Remote, but must reside in the greater Denver Metropolitan area! Great benefits!

The position is remote, but the selected candidate must reside in the Denver Metropolitan area for an occasional meeting.

We are seeking a degreed accountant with a willingness to do a wide variety of accounting duties, including accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and update the monthly cash flow forecast.
• Complete regulatory filings (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Coordinate annual tax preparation and 1099 reporting.
• Prepare backup documentation for monthly sales and use tax filings.
• Perform general administrative duties, including document scanning, organization, and electronic file management
• Support special projects and ad hoc requests from the Controller and CEO

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong familiarity with general accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Great job record
• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment

• Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize workload effectively
• Excellent computer skills, experience with Bill.com, OGsys, and NetSuite a plus

• Proactive communicator with strong organizational skills.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 -$110,000 DOE. Benefits include discretionary bonus potential, PTO, medical, vision, 401K match and much more!
