The Analyst is primarily responsible for customer credit risk analysis, FX transaction management, cash forecasting, coordinating the movement of cash and debt management
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CREDIT RISK AND TREASURY ANALYST
- Analyze financial data for creditworthiness and risk assessment.
- Conduct credit evaluations and ratings; manage credit requirements and limits.
- Foster internal and external customer relationships; handle credit approvals.
- Specialize in international treasury operations and foreign currency processes.
- Oversee corporate cash forecasting and optimize borrowing for interest savings.
- Perform monthly treasury reporting and daily cash management.
- Track bank fees, prepare doubtful accounts reports, and support lender communications.
- Stay informed on market trends to mitigate credit, interest rate, and currency risks.
- Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead strategic projects and support financial reporting cycles.
- Collaborate with departments for accurate treasury transaction accounting.
- Contribute to budgeting efforts and provide backup for treasury roles.
- Deliver financial analysis and support ad hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CREDIT RISK AND TREASURY ANALYST
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a related discipline
- MBA or MS Finance a plus
- 1-3 years’ experience in Treasury, Finance or Accounting or related area.
- Credit risk analysis and international treasury operations, global banking or foreign currency exchange is required.
- Cash forecasting and financial modeling experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts preferred.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, CapIQ and Bloomberg preferred
Target Salary Range: $68,000 – $88,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential, generous PTO and holiday schedule, 401k, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, and much more!!
