TAX MANAGER
TAX MANAGER – Ditch the Billable Hours – Thrive “In-House” as Tax Manager – Great Work/Life Balance!

Become part of a team responsible for coordinating a range of tax related services for a multinational business. This includes planning, analysis of transactions, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
We will consider someone straight out of public accounting or a combination of public accounting and industry experience. A CPA is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER

- Oversee the tax process from preparation to management of S corporation and partnership federal and state income tax returns and related matters.
- Assist with calculations related to the various returns included those prepared in house and by outside advisors.
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of quarterly projection.
- Assist with tax audits.
- Analyze transactions and financial statements to determine proper tax treatment of items.
- Research and prepare memoranda outlining findings and conclusions for various tax matters.
- Coordinate deliverables of tax filings and monitor due dates.
- Special projects as requested and additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree accounting or tax required.
- Minimum of 4 years of public accounting and/or private industry experience.
- CPA
- Experience in pass-through taxation in multiple jurisdictions.
- Some oil & gas experience a plus.
Excellent computer skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with corporate level tax team and with other departments, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve issues independently and effectively and communicate actions as required.
- Ability to efficiently adapt to changing business needs.
- Works with purpose and a sense of urgency; deadline focused, and commitment driven.
Target salary range: $125,000 – $145,000 DOE. PTO, insurance, 401K, continuing education and more!
