Put your accounting, finance and computer skills into work to provide strong business decisions.</p>  <p>This role supports financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and operational decision-making while providing guidance to accounting staff.</p>  <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT</strong></p>  <p><strong>Accounting & Financial Reporting</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.</li>  <li>Support monthly and year-end close processes.</li>  <li>Prepare and analyze financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting.</li>  <li>Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Leadership & Process Improvement</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Provide guidance and training for accounting staff.</li>  <li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.</li>  <li>Leverage technology solutions to enhance accounting operations.</li>  <li>Support external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Contractor Payments</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Oversee customer billing, invoicing, cash receipts, and account reconciliations.</li>  <li>Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition and collections support.</li>  <li>Review and approve invoices, payments, and contractor compensation.</li>  <li>Ensure accurate recording of payables and timely payment processing.</li>  <li>Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Payroll</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, funding, and related accounting entries.</li>  <li>Ensure accuracy of payroll records, PTO tracking, and payroll reporting.</li>  </ul>]]></description>
